Iroquois Ridge South is a planned community situated in northeast Oakville, bordered by Highway 403, the QEW, Morrison Creek, and Upper Middle Road. Many of the houses were built in the 1970s and 1980s, but the area has not been overdeveloped, and retains many of its natural creeks, trails, and parks. It is well-located for students of the nearby Sheridan College, and also has easy access to the Oakville Go Transit Station for connections into Toronto. Public schools in this area rank on the upper half of the scale in the Halton District School Board, with Iroquois Ridge in particular ranking among the top 20 high schools.
